ASF hurts corn usage too

Ag Attache sharply raised estimate of Chinese corn stocks.

I wouldn't expect any "good will" purchases there.

Re: ASF hurts corn usage too

This whole ASF fiasco, if China doesn`t buy corn to feed hogs, won`t they have to buy pork....or chicken?  And don`t hogs and chickens eat corn where they are raised, here, China or Denmark?

If Denmark sells pork to China, then we will pick up Denmark`s old customers and i do know US hogs eat corn.  6 of one, half dozen of another.

Re: Denmark's old customers, and they are?

Denmark's old customers?  Why won't Denmark and all our other pork competitors just increase production?

The old customers argument didn't work for soybeans, why should it work for pork.

Re: Denmark's old customers, and they are?

Will the environmental whackos let countries like Denmark and the Netherlands increase hog production any more?  Are the Chicoms going to starve +1 billion people out of sheer bullheadedness?

With soybeans, the market used "trade" as a way to unnecessarily screw us and Brazil that supplied the Chicoms didn`t get enough of a premium for bailing them out, if they`re only getting $1 more than US soybeans.  90% of soybean price problem is the world is awash in beans and with enduser`s "just in time" inventory management, the recipe for low prices.

And $13 beans a few years ago had oxen and single bottom plows out all over the world to capture that lofty price.

Meanwhile in the developed world:

The current soybean world record holder does it again!

Georgia producer, Randy Dowdy, has set another soybean yield record, breaking it twice at179.41 and again at 190.23 bushels. He is also the previous corn world record holder.

Yeah, Thanks Dowdy.   Smiley Indifferent

Re: Denmark's old customers, and they are?

enviromental school girls......probably don't  control production of pork in Denmark where Ukrainian's probably do all the work.  And in europe where how we live and how we talk are two different subjects(as much as the US.(even though there is a higher level of sanctimony.

second chicoms starving masses why not......... That level of sanctimony has been reached in 6 to 8 different locations of eastern europe and asia in the last century by very similar or the same groups..... China, Japan, Russia, Poland, Germany, Austria, Bosnia, Syria, Turkey, etc etc etc.......... Half of congress would vote for it if it meant getting power back.  And Children have been used to rile the masses in those places also.

It is rather obvious that reuters is not an independent source of information.
