Re: After the election grain markets?

Nebr. you gotta b kidding. How should a country b set up? Your statement is true for every country in history. If the wealthy suffer everybody suffers. We are different
It is easy to believe this country is different.
The poor in the US have had the best 50 years imaginable. Us poor are entitled, deserving, and living the dream--- we are coddled. No longer the working poor of the past.

Re: After the election grain markets?

You're exactly right.  The poor in the U.S. have cars, cell phones, cable tv, etc.  The poor in many other countries don't have such luxuries.  When one can live a happier and more meaningful life from welfare than working a minimum wage job, we definitely have a problem.

Re: After the election grain markets?

After a morning work,  I have rethought my first answer.  Corn will go up. Whoever is elected will bring some stability to the markets.  One thing I know for certain 3 small biz people near me will quit if Obama is elected.   One has 2 full time , one has 1 full time and one  has 1 partime worker.  All are near retirement,  and told me they would work for cash only.  They felt quite good this summer when our governor was kept in office here in Wisconsin.  Now they are scare as hell Obama will be relected.

The poor in US are living with the promise that Chinese will do their work. The government will provide their needs. And the rich will pay their debts. Don't expect a thank you. We are entitled.

Re: After the election grain markets?

I was merely making an observation, in response to a comment made about the rich suffering in this country.

I firmly believe, that if an event occurs, or a policy is enacted, so that the 'rich' suffer, we all will suffer.  Given the situation we are in, I see no way around it.

Re: After the election grain markets?

the "policy" ----------- we have no choice,  we can enact it or just watch it happen.  The bill will come due.

I totally agree with you,  I also see no way around it.  Difficult times may be the only way we renergize and reeducate ourselves.

Re: After the election grain markets?

I can remember when Japan was said to be taking control of the USA  --- hard times are present now in many fazes of the economy  --- a consuming nation as the population here has been positioned for will fonder on debt that has little value like a 6 month old cell phone --- experts are a dime a dozen from the beltway north ---let China call the notes and project what the big volume store stock value would have ---seems numerous entities have a real painted in the corner position --- Fed rates a near zero - Silver bullets depleted ---
