Re: AgPoll: Week of the Fourth
John, I more interesting poll would be:
How are you feeling about new crop grain sales:
A. Good, I haven't made any,
B. OK, only sold a few
C. Sick, would like to cancel them all.
B. Going to be really ugly, can't fill the contracts.

Re: AgPoll: Week of the Fourth
Sorry, was just trying to have a little fun. But, yes, yours is a much better poll, of course, with some real substance to it. Thanks for chipping in.
Certainly would be interested in feedback on your poll. Thoughts?

How about a poll on which advisory service or expert advisor has done the best job at marketing 2012's crop? That ought to make those guys nervous.

Re: AgPoll: Week of the Fourth
I'd be 'B', sold a bit, about 15% of a 'normal' year's worth of production, just yesterday. Unsure if I want to pre-sell more than 50% until I see ear development, and what it looks like.
I also have just a bit of old crop left to sell and $7 will take all but the last load of it. I want to save one last truckload, so that if it hits $10, I can go to the coffee shop, and brag I sold 'some' corn for $10.
