Almost 4.5 million acres
2.3 million acres of corn and 2.17 million acres of beans did not get planted according to FSA. Corn conditions rating slips, and markets were down today?

Re: Almost 4.5 million acres
There's probably another 4.5 million acres that are complete junk as well. The complacency of the market place is incredible.

Re: Almost 4.5 million acres
Couldnt seem to find the FSA report data on this site, so I pulled it off the "other" site. This was a record amount of unplanted acreage, at least since USDA started releasing the numbers in 2007. On a side note, basis is staying firm "here".

Re: Almost 4.5 million acres
bk....Remember no one will know the hour...just read that verse again and it seemed so fitting for events of the last few months.
Seriously, since the New Testament evolved man's understanding of the diety, does Shemitah really apply?
If you look at the "Shemitah" websites and actually read the claims, you will find that they are very fast and loose with the actual TIME that things happen. Kind of blend everything so it is close enough for the claim.
Is paper over-valued? Grossly. Will it collapse and return to paper (dust to dust don't you know)? Obviously. Does that happen in the next few weeks? It could, or it could not. It all depends on China and they aren't jewish/christian/islam...so does the book apply?
It is fascinating to me Marketeye did not report the FSA PP numbers? Also, interesting how traffic on this site has fallen off a cliff. Maybe all the guys out west are building bins and don't have time. Pretty sure that Palouse is probably fighting forest fires.
