The recent market action & SA weather, unusual USA weather, and Commitment of Traders Data suggest we have reached the time, give or take a week or so, to clean out the closet, make it as comfy as possible, and prepare to assume a period of residency. At this writing, an unknown period of residency. These markets are not going to be easy! Over the next few weeks we will hear economic news events sufficient to scare anyone with a logical brain; questions as to whether the Money Funds will again return to these mar-kets; and I anticipate HUGE VOLATILE SWINGS IN PRICE. In addition, a few of the large individual speculators re-main among the walking wounded until this MFGlobal mess is completely sorted out. We ARE EARLY in a South American Weather Market; events may prove to lose and/or save these SA crops eve-ry week. The closet will not be the location for the feint of heart. If this weather deal proves to be the real thing-meaning the closet pe-riod may be lengthy, let me suggest a SONY 32 Table ($500) for quotes, skype & surfing; a headband light for those moments you talk to your hand puppet & prefer darkness (someone might open the door when sounds are heard) why cause folks needless worry?; and, a Virgin Hot Spot for Internet service during storms. No contract & pay as you go & ours works great. For those fellows with strong-willed, informed spouses, or best friends, I suggest the purchase of a hand puppet. The closet can be a lonely place. Sometimes a trader enjoys a second opinion, but not necessarily one of those hard questioning varieties which place a person on the spot. A hand puppet at those times is great. I’ve named mine Fred & we have enjoyed many talks about the markets, life in general and whether or not Obama will be a one-term President. Thus far, I am ahead on points.
