Straw just sits there until somebody lights a match. I'm thinking of my grain as buckets of water. If someone lights a match I'm going to wait until the fire is the hottest so I can say I did what I could when it was most needed. Better than dampening the straw ahead of time because it's getting hot out. Nobody will blame me.
