Riding a horse outside Yellowstone with no cell service gets me to analogizing.  The markets usually get me worked over about like ol` Hugh Glass sometimes.  Stayed at Big Sky a little over a week, before you start at the coulior on a triple black diamond run, you got to sign your life away at the penalty box/broker.

Saw a field of corn outside Bozeman International, looked good ...for silage 75 day Pioneer.

The alfalfa looks good and many have another cutting coming, good irrigated Montana hay!   A little tip, buy your ribeyes before you get to Big Sky

Hey BA we're headed to Yellowstone on the 17th,. any colors yet?

BA, how crowded is it at Yellowstone? I had "promised" my family a week to ten days there but have to renege due to work requirements. Went to Pipestone instead for a day, and had  a "Yellow" sign we put over the "Pipe" in the pictures. Just kidding.

What are late fall, early winter outings to Yellowstone like? Anyone ever do this?

No crowds and a touch of snow at times.  Dress warm.

Bear spray is kind of a waste of money for grizz and some cinnamon bear.  Perhaps add some 30ft range wasp and hornet spray? Hope y'all don't run out of time.

   But they can always say you tried.  LOL.

that's a funny joke if you are camping with people you are not all that close to, but what if the other ones are your wife and little kids?

There are men that would outrun their wives and kids, and there is a name for them, too. If this was the forum I would say what that name is.

Kind of like the ones that kick all the nations problems down the road for their descendants to deal with.
