What - you're going to say you got my money like our buddy did on here last year?  You don't have my money - you're playing against yourself.  I haven't contributed one penny to whatever you think that you made.  How much have you lost the last  7 years.  No, gamblers never say how much they lost.  Only how much they won.  I don't care.  Corn may go down.  Good.  Beans may go down.  Good.  I don't care.   I sold my farm.  My money is where I want it to be.  You - you'll do like all gamblers do - reinvest it into the gambling machine, and when it's gone, you'll shut up.

I am amused with a couple comments.
first, what is the qualifications to be a broker/advisor?
I look at world weather
I have a usda "wire " ie RSS feed
I can get all the charts I want

Now why are you more qualified than me,
Further I do have an advanced degree,
And college level classes in commodities
Marketing.

My problem...
I'm not in the in crowd. Everyone is in
The "hurdles mentality "....your cronies
and info sources are biased and all
Lean that way, once somebody figures
It out were wrong, things shift

As far as the farmers "not listening" let me
Point you to the wheat market....multi
Years low production, some in recent history
On record....poor quality poor crop conditions.
Freeze, drought.....you name it.

We had very good exports......yet where
Are we.

Many have agreement something not
Right

Now new crop, some areas not much better
And the idea is "here we go again"

Part of the problem is the brokers/advisors
Do not "have skin in the game"

To you "its a market".....to us farmers, its
our life.

Makes a difference.....you can be bop to
One thing to the other, we can't.

I'm amazed, we manage huge sums of capital
To produce products, but the brokers and
Advisors are smarter than us because
We can't "market" when producing the
Crop you just must fight the weather, insects knowing what variety toplant, fertilizer to
Apply, herbicide to apply, and successfully rolling the dice on the equipment not
Requiring huge repairs

We take it to the market where every shell game and mind game is played to get
every penny.

The old saying " birds of a feather flock together".....I'd rather be with the farmers

True statement on USDA report mornings. I as a Broker have very little time to read the report, answer client

phone calls, place orders as the markets are moving 5-10plus cents in min.

US wheat is more expensive than world prices.

Have you looked at the US dollar at year highs?

Farming for crop insurance means that now, many farmers are cheering on the bear's side for another 6 weeks or so.
