Re: Beans up hard
Despite a lot of people trying to talk crop size down I'm having a hard time not seeing these rains a pretty yield positive on a net basis.
I'm afraid of a 1994 sized bean yield outlier which would make the carrot not very sweet.
51? Since I said 175 for corn a couple weeks ago at least I can claim to have insight into the (generally believed to be malevolently fictitious) mind of USDA.

Re: Beans up hard
Unfortunately have to agree with you hardone, very unlikely bean yield goes down.
Some of the fringe states numbers seem pretty low given the abundant rain down there,
KY @ 48? more likely 55 I suspect. Wis 52? more likely 55 as well. jmo
Corn could be the same, just what state is going to pull down the average, Ohio is already at 163, take it to 150, doesn't matter, national could be 178 pretty easily.
Plus, they already jacked up the demand numbers. Now, demand has to defend the big increase in the numbers...not how to end a bear market. Manage your havest situation in beans, no carry, tight basis, no empty bins, just think about it.

Re: Beans up hard
"they" musta bought alot of beans in that new cash area of $8.75 to $9 area after spending all winter brainwashing us that $8.50 might be the best you can hope for cash S6X. So, not many have gambling bushels left.

Re: Beans up hard
The more that is sold now equals less to sell later. Especially if the yields come in a little less than the experts predict. And believe it or not, yes, it could happen.
