Big wheat carryouts..... What would happen If?......

We did not the perceived carryouts that we have today...... Wheat bears want to talk about the HUGE supply as to why the prices should be a lot lower...... One has to ask the question ...... Were we already lower........ IMO..... We are now worried that the carryouts will get smaller and there will need to be more acres planted, demand slowed ...... It would appear that people are not afraid to by $7.00 wheat.... Welcome to free markets......p-oed

P-oed: I love your comments. It reminds me of my high school psych teacher who would wonder around the room wringing his hands at our answers and say "yes, but what if.............."

I have no idea how high the price of wheat is going and how far it will take the other commodities but we do know what happens when it gets out of whack. It doesn't appear that we will run out of wheat and $7.00 would buy a lot of acres. But it would be at the expense of other crops. So will the carry over of corn be enough to get us through with less acres? Will the world have so much wheat a year from now that it holds the rest down?  I have no idea, because as the last few years have proven, there are too many unknowns these days. I just try to sell at a profit.
