Brazil's current situation and new railroads.

Since this topic was raised below I happened on this article. Brazil does recognize the need for railroad development but .......

Doesn't this quote from your link say it all? Maybe our country could learn a lesson from Brazil.....

Could switch it around and Brazil could do it the way the US did back in the 1800's to develop the West.

 

Huge land concessions and graft and corruption among the corporations and members of the US Congress.

 

In each case, the railroads weren't going to do it on their own either way.

Brazil wil grow more and more beans. They are good at it. Infrustucture bottlenecks  occur and sooutons found.

How mnay beans has Brazil exported in 12/13?
