Re: Brock predicting biggest corn bear market in history

Have to agree on one thing. Someday we will get weather to raise a crop, When it does I will say prices will go down. Ground that use to raise 60bu beans this year 30. Also people are getting fed up with the whole thing, rotten weather. Then these Brock types flying around in their private planes multiple homes, and just bragging about what ever is going down like a big turd in the punch bowl. I agree some end users back are against the wall, but where Brock types fail to understand is the Europeans are working hard to get their economies up and running hard, also its in the politicans intrest to do the same here in the US. I have been at this to long, but, when you bet against Washington you better have your act together, I see a 7 on the corn board where I sell also 13 on the bean board. My gross is similar to 60 at  6. So I will take it. Also, corn at these levels. In the end I have learned to listen to these kind and do just the opposite and get it right every time. Now that feels better.

I have to agree with you there IIakmf. I remember last year when Brock was on AgDay predicting a bearish year for 2011...... Um well he got it wrong and Im sure some sold waaay to early based on advice from a bearish grain marketer. I understand that he has been at this game a long time but he tends to be the most bearish of all. I would say there is a little air left in this bullish balloon but I have a feeling this market will deflate throughout the winter and make a brief comeback in the spring.

Even a big US crop in 2012 will get absorbed by these markets. We may see some price swings but I still think the trend is steady to slightly higher unless we see a significant correction in oil.
