Build back better
So if this goes through how many livestock producers will be left in USA, with the $46oo tax on each head of cattle, and $2400 on each head of hogs?

If Sinema sticks to her guns on the filibuster, Bi-den ==> Bi-Done. Not that there won't be more jackassery from both sides in the future... (sigh).

"There is no cow tax, however, except on Facebook or Twitter. It's simply wrong that a member of the House Agriculture Committee chose to make such a false claim".

Re: Build back better
I love a good magic show, not to offend anyone (other than liberals) but I hope my skepticism is understood here. Okay, the livestock tax was a part of the Green New Deal, not the Build Brokeback Mountain Bill. So, there was understandable confusion because all this "green" "brokeback" "voting rights" crap all melds together and if one opposes it all without even reading it, you`ll be seated at the Righthand of the Father.
So in November of 2021, DTN says "no no no, there ain`t no livestock tax in the BBB bill" okay fine, let`s all fight socialism with the correct facts, I favor that. But Sherman registers (welcome Sherman, by the way) on 1/13/22 and his first and only post is livestock tax contained in the BBB bill. Something a quick clickety-click on google would answer, but it`s posed as a knock out of the park post that liberals could read the stitches on the ball.
And then the liberal cavalry shows up just in the nick of time to "debunk that daaaangerous rightwing misinformation" .
No, the magician doesn`t really saw the lady in half.

seems to have worked on a few in the past ...
psy ops will do that... they suck in the easily emotionally charged ... and the agenda driven dolts... they get them to do their work for them. They love the help from these types that react as opposed to those of us that are prepared.
sorry, thought it a fight worth having , discrediting gobbledegook and innuendo , especially on an ag site...

Re: Build back better
You did the right thing RJ, however sometimes questions can be like pro wrestling. The "bad guy" holds the title and a underdog "good guy" wins it back to the cheers of the audience. But after the "exposition" both the good guys and bad guys go out for drinks, discussing next week`s performance and routines.

Re: Build back better
of course I did the right thing.
funny ; here at the page that bemoans political banter..., well, only if it's the "wrong" people starting political banter here, you took it political casting it as a lefty thingy... par for the course , if you want proof of such, I can provide.
lets check back in after the 22 elections and see if Markwayne and Kat are re-elected... I'm sure it only hardened support for them. Grifters count on the emotionally weak to manipulate.

Re: Build back better
Farmers are politically conservative. Legislation that effects or potentially effects bottomlines (I think) are market worthy discussion. There`s Lefty crawling under the tent on here, like "Hey, let`s make nitrogen out of solar panel electricity to break the Koch brothers....ain`t you mad at them, they`re screwin` ya on fertilizer prices!" .
But like wrestling the Crusher tells the Animal: "hey, I`ll ask a easily debunked question that the farmers will surely fall for and you step in and bust the myth!" and git them farmers to thinkin` "what else them Republicans been Lyyyyyin` to me about, think i`ll become a honest socialist".
Or maybe I`m just being paranoid 🙂
