Bad.
Plouser. Hard to describe without sounding fake. The lower elevations around Hutchinson & Wichita are the question. Sw ks, ok west, tex panhandle are 80-90% gone.
I'm thinking 4-6 weeks late planting bumps up bean acres and wheat loss Midwest is still not in the market.

Re: 12-14 inches tall and nice 3-weeks ago

thanks hobby,  fields 3 miles apart yours was last week.  My chiropractic sideways view is today.

Just checked weather monday prediction is now down to 24 and 23 tuesday morning.  By the end of this week we would normally be 2/3 done planting corn.  We have not sprouted any volunteer or weeds yet.  Soil temp is 38-40, would normally be 52-54.

Main point is I think the Market hasn't responded to the latest issues in weather yet, but farmers will.

This should add some reality to CX-1's concern.

You may be on to something.  I have already covered my wheat sales with call options, and have a put for my beans.  Hope my irrigated wheat will at least make hay, if not grain.  Then come back with milo or cow feed.
