The dow has risen over 50% since Obama was elected. It crashed during when W was president; so, if Dow goes back to 10,000 still more than 25% increase. It was less than 8000 when he was sworn in.
look at the chart; if you are going to base things on the dow - then you best register as a democrat. for the record, I think W was the dumbest president we have ever had. It was W that took us from a surplus to a trillion dollar hole.

MT, I don't want to add to your woes. BUT, when the dems stack the supreme court in the next four years there will be nothing stopping the EPA. For all those evangelicals that stayed home because they didn't like Romney, they are the ones responsible for a court that will always protect Roe/Wade and all the other conservative issues they say were so important to them, that Romney wasn't strong enough on for them. Talk about shooting themselves in the foot. That group may get the stupid award. Did they not even think of the results of all those judicial appointments?
Looks like the good times will roll for the rich, and the rest of the suckers better get in the Uncle Sam hand out line--same as it has been for the last twelve years--it took two to tango...congress and the president...plenty of dems and republicans to share that accomplishment.
I did figure out that most don't worry about the national debt because they are up to their eyeballs in debt of their own.
Now how does this work? I must need to put a call into Harkin and get the 179 expense for next year back to 250,000. I might need it if SA comes up a little short.
I so wish we would have taken it on the chin instead of Bush agreeing to TARP.
