CNN (Cheapo News Network)---In some areas of the midwest, local states of emergency are being declared. Hundreds of Grain bins
loaded with wheat are exploding. The ever growing amount of wheat in the bins are causing the wheat to blow out the sides and
the tops of the grain bins.......Local grain elevators are on 12 hour shifts trying to get the elevators unloaded as fast as they can so
the multiplying wheat in the bins do not put more pressure on the bin walls and that they blow out.
People are advised not to go near grain bins, be they made of steel or concrete....fear is continuing to spread as there have
been several reports of hopper grain trailers pulled by semi trucks, and at least several hopper grain cars have been reported to
start to bulge and wheat leaking from the seams............
"We just don't understand it, harvest is over, the wheat is in the bin, and the amount of wheat, according to the CME, continues
to grow larger each day".....this from a long time Kansas Farmer and member of the local fire department.
CNN contacted the American Farm Bureau Federation and the National Association of Wheat Growers, located in Washington, D.C.,
and asked what can be done about this situation.......they have not returned our calls.
In the meantime, wheat futures continue to drop, down almost every day this past week, in reaction to the growing piles
of wheat, and the grain bins, elevators, semi's and train cars overloaded with wheat..........
