So far I've been two counties too far east for this rain. The event 4 days ago that gave us 1.4 saved some raspberries just got this picture from the wife 3 minutes ago..

Still in wheat harvest, but if you got a decent cinnamon roll in town to go along with some rasberry pie ----------- an Iowa trip might become a necessity.

We just picked 400 doz. Early Iowa sweet corn this morning.  That just might make your Iowa trip VERY necessary.

Ended up with 9.25.  News is saying that 30+ homes are being evacuated in Town - several roads washed out overnight.  Trying to dry up my basement

these drought years get on the extreme side and either side is not good.

Hobby we got some plans to make in the future.  I'm gonna tone it down on this one for now.  I am afraid the combine crew will be packing for iowa if they keep reading the temptations.  

Wind.  we finally got a little rain last evening and tried to stretch it your way but came up short.  We normally lack humidity, we have not had much rain but have been humid enough that we cannot cut at night.  Real strange when we are humid and you are low humidity.

Hobby got enough last night to plant a couple more milo fields---------very spotty  .9 inch down to sprinkles.  I think the nw ks missed it.

All the rain here in Iowa missed me yesterday and today. If it misses tonight and in the morning I have one more 1000gal sprayer load to go to be over everything once. Weeds sprayed day before yesterday are already very sad looking (glyphos only [48+oz rate])
