I live in the heart of the HRW wheat belt, and I'm guessing I'm still running on the first life. Any talk of wide spread winter kill at this point is pure speculation. MO

During the growing season of corn/soybeans we often refer to "backyarditis", that is what we are dealing with concerning wheat at this point. Can we turn completely cold/dry and ding or kill nearly every acre? Absolutely, but we could from here on out have ideal conditions and have a bumper crop as well.

Overall, my location is doing well at this point, but we've got ample time for it to go either way.
