Chile Volcano

Volcano is spitting tons of ash in the atmosphere.  Does anyone know if it will have a significant impact on South Am weather?

Yes, it'll probably appear cloudy.

Back in the 90's when the one in the Philippines went off we didn't make a cotton crop worth a darn because it stayed to cool all summer.

Weather flows will take the ash to the pacific side and away from Brazil but Chile and Argentina will have a few problems immediate.  And the rest of us will notice if it goes long enough.
