Re: USA
Last Sat spent 10 hrs in Los Angeles international airpirt. We were in the international departures and arrival terminal.
Arrivals come in on a balcony over departures. Several huge planes full of predominantly Asian passengers unloaded just above us , my estimate was 30% of them were wearing masks, this was week ago Sat. Two week incubation period and we ain't seen nothing yet...

Re: USA 5 flu cases
On Jan 20th, there were 291 official cases and 0 deaths. Five days later on Jan 25, there were 1975 official cases and 56 deaths....hmmm.
Anyway, you may be interested in this study:
"Clinical features of patients infected with 2019 novel coronavirus in Wuhan, China"
https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(20)30183-5/fulltext
WHAT's said to be circulating in the Taiwaness press is that based on the above study, Wuhan Virus currently has a 15% mortality rate and an infection rate among those exposed of 83%.
....again, make of it what you will.

I sure 1000% hope so.
Newest numbers released several minutes ago:
2803 cases worldwide
80 dead
Look at the charts to see the breakdown of where the cases have occurred. This tracking map constantly updates.

I was wondering bout the mortality on positive cases....
That number could be anywhere until the flu runs some course. There definitely plenty of positives in many countries now.
Let's hope this flu does wane. Jeez, a rampant deal nowtimes could be fatal for billions.

Re: USA 5 flu cases
I have the exact same questions. However, just gotta say that Wuhan virus is NOT the flu (influenza) virus, although they can share some of the same symptoms.
It is a coronavirus:

...which is different from the influenza virus:
https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/viruses/index.htm
****I had to look up the difference between the two.
