China Tweet of the Day

It was brought to my attention, in a Twitter tweet Thursday, this astounding statistic on China's soybean appetite.

China's 2016/17 soybean imports are projected at 3.19 billion bushels.

The U.S. 2015/16 soybean production is estimated at 3.92 billion bushels.

WOW!!!

The questions we need to ask when the buyers tell us our 15 day supply is just tooooo much.

Yep and the elevators are saying have to settle up
On the beans within 7 days hauling them in.

Reason....we cant get rid of the crops no body
Will buy them.

Let's see good demand...basis is usually worse at
Harvest...
And board price usually lower then...so we force you to sell...at the cheapest time...and yet when they are
Company beans, we find room to store them....

Anything wrong with that picture ???
