China sets target growth at 7%
This might be old news for some of you gurus, but Elaine Kub talked about this at noon. Good be a good deal for commods?
Also heard on WHO radio Ray J shut down Eddyville at 2:00 because "newly combined corn" came in with stalks and plugged up the works...wow, fresh combined corn and I haven`t even pulled the planter out of the shed 🙂
Re: China sets target growth at 7%
Cargill Blair closed at 3 today, 12 tomorrow and 12 on thursday. When I quit working there in the spring of 2012 they were grinding 320,000 bu a day. Strange that they can use that much a day and have 3+ million on hand with "no farmer selling". Granted the 14,000 we are trying to get in there this week was all sold last June and July.
Also saw a farmer bring in a load from the bottom of a ground pile that was full of dirt and stalks. It plugged up several conveyors. At the time he was banned from hauling to Blair for a couple of years if I remember correctly.
