Nice try...... blame for ag being a ward of the state and all those on federal dole begins and ends with the Clintons 1996.

The Presidential term that nailed the coffin for small business, US Labor, US manufacturing, small town economies and agriculture.... all sacraficed for the good of the soon to come "World Economy".   

Necessary to make this function was a very strong EPA movement world wide, so there would an over riding authority to "trump" national law and nationalism.  Epa being in place for a decade had a grip on the US constitution.... Problems were two..... 1.  the clintons got greedy and put the stench of "foundation" on every international process while China  (the far East in general) being the worlds cheap labor is given a pass on the EPA regulations.     Then 2....... the tech boom ---and for maximum profits we helped china become the king of cheap labor but also the king of tech labor and technical manufacturing.----- No doubt this was a decision championed in Congress(or at least a decision that needed congress to look the other way --for maximum tax avoidance for American stock investors and american entrepreneurs)

All Trump did was beat a Clinton.  He deserves all the credit ---- largely because she refuses to accept any responsibility.  You can throw all the crap you want but it aint sticking.  Because under every ugly rock there is another democratic embarrassment.

The US has a cheap food policy, 10% of American`s disposable income on food (even if you shop at Hy-Vee   )  that leaves more discretionary income to squander on $10 tickets to the latest Tom Cruise movie and $100 tickets at whatever game is being played at the Target Center.  Keeps the "non-essential economy" going.   You`re welcome, America!

Little doubt that My Farmers will be taken care of in an election year.

And in fairness, if foreign flagged cruise lines and corps that stripped themselves out to enrich the management are in this emergency, farmers should be too.

Although the way forward looks murky, other than permanent status as wards of the state.

Don’t know what the long term consequences of putting a failed heir turned reality TV personality in charge might be but there might actually be some justice in the universe. (He’s nuts too, in case you haven’t noticed).

'Twas, of course the Gingrich Congress and a GOP majority that overcame the opposing Democrats to pass NAFTA* and WTO. But yes, WJC signed them into law (that was back before the Unitary Executive when the POTUS had authority to do whatever he wanted).

*Very strong GOP- and ultimately bipartisan- support for a recent slightly tweeked NAFTA update. Whatever the improvements were they were mostly forced by Pelosi. A MUST HAVE for "agriculture" or so said all the commodity groups.

In addition, since your fixated on the looser party.  Explain what the process is for choosing a candidate for president in the socialist party(democratic soccer mom party)?   It sure hasn't got much to do with the will of the delegates to anything..... Definitely has nothing to do with the Iowa caucasseseeseses.  That process was only a TV time grab for what could have been some "good publicity" but turned out to be children squabbling and a well meaning "Bloomberg moment" on how good farmers have it.

And what leads one to drop out of that race(like a car race, not the kind democrats fixate on--or claims to be to get special favors in college similar to the ones you get jail time for if you work for Hallmark Movies)?  

It is not low delegate numbers,  It is not lack of funding,  ............ etc  etc..   Is it we drop out when we have made it on SNL?  Or when our closest supporter is threatened with jail time in a New York precinct?  Or is it when we know there is a trump killer virus on the way?   We can't beat trump so we hope the virus can?   

It can't be "we can't find a good candidate".  We can produce untold numbers of rape victoms at the drop of a few million, so the university brain trust has got to have political candidates stashed in a closet somewhere.  Or a good looking doctorate of nutrition we could run out there.

Explain yourselves to me...... You didn't even try to be an alternative for 2020.  Is that Trumps fault too????
