Corn/Bean basis......What's the effect?
Im hearing that the basis in the north is absolutly horabale ...... Im woundering as to what effect this might have on planting ideas up there next spring..... Sure make it a lot less profitable with such wide basis..... p-oed

What would you call horrible. -$.20 corn here in Ohio. -.30 for fall. Someone said $.70 in the east. That's positive seventy.

Well the basis is wide for all crops here in se ND, -82 for corn and -1.03 for soys, so what choice is there other than to keep with your original plans of crop acreage

Corn -84 here soya -85 if only they could get that pipe buried solve a lot of logistical issues. Don't forget about all the coal that has to share the rail also.
