Sorry MT just had to ruffle your feathers a bit. That being said, I do agree that USDA is off the mark with "trend" estimates. However, regardless of whatever trend is this year everybody can throw it out the window. There is such variability in soil profile moisture levels that it is impossible to predict a yield at this time. This thing could go any direction yield wise in the next 6 months. Although bordering on narsacistic I do appreciate your insight which has been pretty accurate in recent history. Keep on keepin on.
