Re: Corn and soy price and the powers that be
USDA has a special job. Keep the price of food down while keeping farmers in business. If our lazy nation becomes dependent on another for food, we're done. But while trying to get everyone in to Walmart to spend their cash on crap, Susie homemaker can't spend 50% of her allowance on food alone. So they throw numbers and scare tactics out there. Keeps things in check for a bit, they just hope the American consumer doesn't catch wind of this and all hell breaks loose. Maybe I'm an anti government fanatic, but I prefer simply "anti government" 😉

Re: Corn and soy price and the powers that be
I'd wish I'd sold my farm when prices were higher.
