Corn basis deteriorating this am

By 5-10 cents. Might b everyone waiting for the rally to settle. Or buyers looking to pickup gains from futures? Guess no one wants the risk of decline.

I am impressed by this rally... I'm thinking we will Goto 4.60 on march.

Might be some great bids come spring.

Sold a little yesterday on a one to four cent basis improvement on Mississippi river for export.

River closed here till middle of March.  Best improvement was April

Positive basis at ADM 11cents March,Mississippi river 2 April,Illinois river 2 May.  Still negative at rail station 3 to 5 to feed the chickens.

I think the commercials do that time to time just to shake the tree to see what falls out.

Probably not a long term thing.
