DDG's are not a homogenous product.....quality can vary a lot between plants....and now more and more plants are removing some of the corn oil, which reduces the energy content of DDG's
you can count on 17-18 pounds per bushel on air dry basis...
the value of DDG's varies depending on the species it is fed to.........if feeding to finishing cattle at 30% or higher there is likely excess protein in the diet....whereas dairy guys can use every bit of the protein.....similar scenario for swine and poultry where protein in diet is higher than those finishing cattle....
