Well there goes the excess profits for buying a nice pair of winter duds. I'm almost out of duct tape to continue patching the hand me down ones I have now. 😞

Re: Dec corn will be under $4.75 on 11/1/21?
I wonder if China will keep up the pace or "cancel purchases" . But this canceling purchases stuff, if someone sold + $6.00 Dec corn ....someone bought it and is on the hook if their Chinese customer cancels, you`d think that would only happen one time before they got wise or went broke. I think this "China cancelling" is a red herring bear talking point.

I wonder when am I gonna get my sales for all the $6.50 and above corn and $15+ beans cancelled and a demand for a refund?
Some liberal judge would probably grant it with penalties to me for accepting their offer.

Re: $4.75? Rain makes grain, it's ...
... more likely to be $3,75 with all the rain.

Subject to change, but so far corn up 2 and beans up 13. Other site the consensus was to "be down hard". Perhaps other factors than rain or they`ll whack it at the report?

the "smart money" in the market already had the rain events factored in.

So far so good, corn is still 3 to 4 higher and beans 13 to 16 higher. Have to see what the other site is saying about "limit down! limit down!" yesterday predictions, hopefully they are mostly pleasantly surprised. We`ve been hearing all spring "gonna run out of beans and have to call the carryover 100 million bushel , cause that`s essentially zero. And corn 800 million" What happened to anything over 1.5 billion bu carry extremely bullish and no room for a hiccup ...all bushels on all acres needed?

Re: Some liberal judge.. cancel...? More likely, ....
More likely, some trump-appointed judge on the take from the packers & hedge funds will cancel your $6 corn contracts. After all, as the corollary to Lenora Helmsley's principle says, "only big people get to make money."
But it begs the question if you didn't think they'd honor the contract, why'd you make it?
