That live cattle are rockin an Rollin. They have gone straight up since last month. They are working in the complete opposite of the hog market. I for the life of me don't understand why. Oh well must be my feeble brain making issues that shouldn't be. I should just stick to corn an beans that I know about.

As a hard workin farmer told me last week. We ain't gonna go no lower, people's gots to eat, huckle, huckle, huckle.

Had a young deer hunter give me a big buck yesterday.  Took it to the locker and the plan is to blend 25% beef with the ground meat and make steaks and roast out of the rest.  Locker prices seem to climbing too.  Anyway,  I still love my steaks and still my choice when eating out.

You don't have to blend 100% beef to make it taste good.........just sayin'

Buck your world is too small.  Cattle numbers have been falling for several years.  Drought in their home states for as many as ten years now and they will be short numbers for several more years.  Do you think the corn belt will fill with cattle because they have $2 corn to feed.  Where will they come from?

But who cares,  we can generate beef with a paper trade and corn with a report.  Let em eat cake.

I'm with you on that one- my wife likes that blend to take the "wild game" taste away.
