Dow closed the day UP 258. "This lady may have stumbled, but she ain`t never fell and if the liberals don`t believe that, they can all go straight to.....straight to ......well" I`m too broke to own stocks, yet I`m cheering for the stock market, USA USA USA!

I agree 15 could be the bottom. Several factors here. Investers are nervous over tariff complications and the Democratic house wanting to reverse the tax cuts plus possibly add more taxes.

Here`s Peter Schiff (the good Schiff) though he`s a tight money guy, he says with the Fed rate hikes have been "putting straws on the camel`s back to see which one breaks it and the last hike was that straw" heck of it is the interview was conducted BEFORE the latest rate hike The old "operation Twist" converted Fed short term liability to long term bonds....well now the chickens are coming home.. And did you people know that us taxpayers are responsible for bailing out the Fed??? I didn`t, I always assumed the Fed was there to bail us out!
Peter Schiff isn`t a Trump fan, but what he sees is "Jimmy Carter stagflation" misery indexes and so forth and instead of a "Reagan" on a white horse, it will be a socialist (a lot to pick from these days) and they will promise chicken in every pot and free college and then things will really go to heck. Peter was on the gold bandwagon in the previous administration, saying head for the hills...but maybe when everyone was buying that 8230 and the 9870STS, a guy shoulda been planting with the old 4020 and using "Coup type inputs" and now heading for the hills with the gold?
it may have seemed Schiff was crying wolf 10 years ago, but that would`ve been the time that individually something could`ve been done. I wonder what a socialist administration will do for grain prices? Probably good at first, until we have our "1917".

Maybe they should be planting with a 1086 IMO since the Dems will have control of the house, the "Trump effect" has been slowed, thus harder to get positive things done, thus the down turn in the markets.
