Re: Downward Pressure For Corn?

I would like to hear Mike  question the "rhetoric" more as well, but he is not the source of the misleading data.

It does irk me when we are led to believe that all the agricultural production in Brazil and argentina is bound for export.

And this is clearly a market manipulation statistic.  With beef prices where they are who in any cattle feeding country would be letting cheap corn go anywhere other than to a local beef feeder.  But we are led to believe that all corn in storage is going to an export destination..............    Not just mike, but a lot of "those in Ag are far too removed from Ag. ( a possible washington reference)

Between the two countries there are 2.44 times as many cattle produced than in the US.

Re: Downward Pressure For Corn?

Corn is being used to feed cattle right now in Brazil, but by February there won't be a lot of demand domestically and there won't be enough room to keep it. The soybean harvest will come and there is not enough storage available, farmers will have to ship it whatever the price is!
