Drought - Wheat - C/B

Comparing 2 yrs ago - to last week has some relevance as per maps below. Also noteworthy - notice on last weeks map the OUTLINED BIG L areas - denoting GReater than 6 months forecast.

Also, the southern wheat is a coming out of dormancy in -- not-so-stellar --shape...still much ??? pondering material to accompany price charts as the earth experiences (next 4 weeks) as it's greatest day-length increases/day - of the year.

Re: Drought - Wheat - C/B

........and, as I remember it - some Corn planting had begun in what would be the next 2 calendar weeks as far North as NE, IA & IL, in 2012.

soooooo, after last yr (comparing 2012-13 dates, conditions, etc.), does planting date ACTUALLY matter very much -- ON BALANCE?

Re: Drought - Wheat - C/B

Seems to be a lot of production areas world wide that are noy getting of to the greatest start too dry, too wet, and just plain old cold. Btw the way cattle are still too cheap but about got the hfrs done. Man can they be a pain in the well you know what.

Statistically, plantin date matters. Each year could have different max yield each year. In years w good growing conditions, high max yield makes the reductions seem non existent and fqlse
