No cattle ownership for us. At one time we fed livestock but not now. Cattle are at a historic high. it is going to take years to repair the damage of the droughts that have been wandering through cattle country for the last few years. 2011 trimmed the numbers even more.
Yes, I remeber last yr hearing how cattlers in Tx were bending over to get hay trucked in from midwest - paying unheard of prices for it - to feed the cattle who survived the record baking.
