Re: ET....where is the rain......

I did not know the last solar maximum was weak.  So go back 12 years = 2000.  Then another 12 years = 1988.  Just thinking about 2024  weak or strong.   LOL

But, I do believe the sun effects the weather on earth a great amount.  I guess England is cold and wet right now.  The same solar flares?

Re: ET....where is the rain......

4wd.......that week's worth of corn space does not include the logistical supply chain going back to farmers and elevators where we have corn purchased.......

it's more about the "total deck" than what space we have at the plant...

but it could get very interesting depending on how the next 15 days turn out.....

That must be challenging at times to keep that beast fed.

Re: ET....where is the rain......

Don, I have always subscribed to the "divide and conquer" school of attacking a problem

It's not 90 million bushels of corn a year....it's "just" 171 bushels of corn a minute, 24/7/365

Hey, I'm counting on you boys to get the job done so I can have that one acre of corn every minute!!!

Ray J: you might need to set your sights on 1 1\2 to 2 acres a minute.

Re: ET....where is the rain......

Hobby.....as much as I would like to argue the point, we are heading toward those numbers.....and we both know it doesn't take long for south of I-80 crops to change in a hurry!
