Paris wheat climbed to a near three-year high today, "partly due to the results from Egypt's latest wheat tender," according to Dow Jones. March Paris milling wheat hit an intraday high of EUR250.25/ton, a price last seen on March 28, 2008, the report said.
In the story a London broker noted, too, that higher U.S. grain prices have helped boost the European market, adding that "Chicago has been on a bit of a rampage" Tuesday.
