Re: Farms getting larger, Sen Grassley`s fault?
Farms have gotten to the size they are because equipment and technology has made farming thousands of acres much easier. Blaming a political figure for those advancements is giving that politician way too much credit.
When it comes to subsidizing farmers I only believe in subsidizing young farmers with low interest loans. Putting caps on subsidies only penalizes success or leads to fraud.

Sw, it’s not just the farm bill that gets the rules written by the agency bureaucracy. Happens more often than not. I suspect 2 factors, but there may be more. 1). The representatives and senators are too lazy to do the heavy lifting, or 2). It gives them deniability I.e. That’s not what we intended this bill to do. Vote me back in so I can fix it. Ad infinitem
