Right now, the February monthly average price levels that will determine crop insurance rates are running at about $3.90 for Dec. corn and $8.86 for soybeans.
If you're keeping track at home, this would be the fourth year in a row of lower price guarantees. The good news is the markets tend to rally a bit in February. However, it appears the bears are getting fat, while being served a hefty plate of "food" each day.
