At the close:

At the close, the May corn futures finished 4 1/2¢ lower at $5.59 1/2. July corn futures closed 2 1/4¢ lower at $5.45 1/4. New crop December corn futures ended 7¢ higher at $4.84 1/2.

May soybean futures settled 34 3/4¢ lower at $14.02. July soybean futures closed 31¢ lower at $13.96 1/2. New crop November soybean futures ended 7 1/2¢ higher at $12.63 3/4.

May wheat futures ended 7¢ lower at $6.11.

May soymeal futures closed $13.00 short term lower at $410.20.


July soy oil futures finished 0.24¢ lower at 50.52¢ per pound.

In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is +2.15 higher (+3.63%) at $61.31. The U.S. dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 158 points higher (+0.48%) at 33,140 points.

At midsession, the May corn futures are 1¢ lower at $5.63 1/2. July corn futures are 3/4¢ lower at $5.46. New crop December corn futures are 5 1/2¢ higher at $4.83 1/2.

May soybean futures are 18 1/2¢ lower at $14.18 1/2. July soybean futures are 15 1/4¢ lower at $14.12 1/2. New crop November soybean futures are 8 3/4¢ higher at $12.65.

May wheat futures are 11 3/4¢ lower at $6.06 1/2.

May soymeal futures are $4.80 short term lower at $418.40.


July soy oil futures are 0.31¢ lower at 50.45¢ per pound.

In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is +0.75 higher (+1.27%) at $59.91. The U.S. dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 124 points higher (+0.38%) at 33,105 points.
