Re: Floor Talk April 20

As opposed to virga, I suppose.  Especially as when seen on radar, rain may be actually in existence but if it is virga it does not reach the ground.

That is the problem for delaney......... Ted doesn't need that distraction....  I like to listen to his comments..... even though he brings up nonsense like our poor quality bean crop (which is being shipped to Argentina to help them blend their poor quality crop.)

She's gotta do something conservative with that hair ......... and maybe some granny glasses.

Futures markets can easily loose concentration.... .... for a young guy loosing his hair.

I'm getting more comfortable with her in charge ------ there's no giggling.    And Delaney is better than Starburst, Stormy or Blaze.

She obviously can handle the subject.

Re: Floor Talk April 20

Tony,  the reality report from SW

Rain a non event in texas and okla. panhandles ----- traces in a few ares.

western ks ----- stevens Morton, & Seward counties--- it is over with average somewhere at or less than 1/4 inch  for fridays 100% and Saturdays 80% chance of rain.  amounts were better east of us and northeast into central ks.  You might find a few spots with 1/2 inch.

2 days of cool cloudy humidity felt good  ...

We have been getting insurance claims on drylands wheat for over a week ---  adjusters optimistic appraisals came in at 8, 12, & 16 this week   We will wait on irrigated for a few days ---- the drive by says still green and very short.  It has been extending the head above ground for two weeks and there will be a lot of very short irrigated wheat.  It was frozen brown in December and has regrown with a lot of water applied...  But 17 degree temps over night twice in the last two weeks probably got it.  Extreme temp variations come in a winter with no humidity.  Great wheat does not.

nothing that would have happened this weekend will help dryland wheat .  we are well established in the 46% of the Ks crop that is in extremely poor condition and have been since December extreme weather.

I realize truth is not important to the script.  The predictions are the only important part.

Amen brother...I have been thinking of turning
In a claim.....if it isn't up by now, is it going to ???

I'm ashamed of it but can one do ? Some not
There, some short...

Chicago, the AG media, market advisors, the
Bell hops at the fancy restaurants in Chicago
""Just know all about wheat""
We even have another experts one here saying too
Much wheat in the world already.

So what the &$#@... I don't know ©✓¢%,. Just been
Out here for a number of years...learned from
My dad and Grandpa, and formal education in
Crop science, plant physiology and other....
Your right, I don't know 🚾

But..logic tells me (but does logic work anymore,

I don't know, when truth is a lie, and lie is

The truth)...we SHOULD see a significant rebound

In the wheat market....if things were ""normal""

What ever the hell that is anymore, one would

Call the broker and go long big time...that

Will be your income for the year.

BUT....the market people I'm talking to

Don't think it will go up, I just hear world

Supply

Yes the biggest wheat production area in the

United States is in horrible conditions, yet

That has no market impact ????

Or am I listening to the wrong people.

Re: Floor Talk April 20

Thanks for the report sw.  Hard to believe that the forecast in the 6-10 outlook took the market down 40 cents in the last week even without any "real rain".  The big rain event passed.  A bust for most.  Rain chances looking forward aren't good.

Re: Floor Talk April 20

Well if the wheat crop is as dead as you say it, BUY the GAP higher tonight....just have to place the order..

Re: Floor Talk April 20

Or buy the lower open because the market sees that it actually rained nevermind the amounts. If the wheat crop is actually dead we should get some kind of a bounce eventually when the traders start hearing poor harvest reports. The million dollar question is how high will the bounce be with the large overhang of worldwide stocks.

Re: Floor Talk April 20

Can we also use past prices for new tractors and combines.

How about a new vehicle?

Property taxes?

Land prices from 20 years ago?

NO, I WASNT SAYING THAT , BUT INCREASE
IN THE FUNCTION OF A PERCENTAGE.

IF THEY WANT TO RAISE PRICES WHERE
THEY SHOULD BE (EQUAL TO EVERYTHING
ELSE) I WILL NOT DISAGREE
