At the close:
At the close, the May corn futures closed 19¢ higher at $6.25 1/2.
July corn futures closed 14 3/4¢ higher at $6.06 1/4. New crop December corn futures closed 8¢ higher at $5.36 1/2.
May soybean futures closed 25 1/4¢ higher at $14.97 1/4. July soybean futures finished 21 1/2¢ higher at $14.79 3/4. New crop November soybean futures ended 10 1/2¢ higher at $13.10 3/4.
July wheat futures finished 13 3/4¢ higher at $6.75 1/4.
July soymeal futures settled $1.40 short ton lower at $416.10.
July soy oil futures closed +1.80 higher at 56.94¢ per pound.
In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is -1.34 lower (-2.14%) at $61.33. The U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 262 points higher (+0.78%) at 34,084 points.

At midsession, the May corn futures are 17¢ higher at $6.23.
July corn futures are 13 3/4¢ higher at $6.05 1/4. New crop December corn futures are 9 1/4¢ higher at $5.37 1/2.
May soybean futures are 22 1/4¢ higher at $14.94 1/4. July soybean futures are 20 1/2¢ higher at $14.78 3/4. New crop November soybean futures are 13 1/2¢ higher at $13.13 3/4.
July wheat futures are 17¢ higher at $6.78 1/4.
July soymeal futures are $0.50 short ton lower at $415.20.
July soy oil futures are +1.96 higher at 57.10¢ per pound.
In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is -0.75 lower (-1.20%) at $61.92. The U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 210 points higher (+0.62%) at 34,031 points.

Just to point out the obvious, not that anyone in Dubai cares, but frost and snow in April on crops that have not emerged does NOT HURT anything, not one thing, slows down emergence so they avoid a frost in early May is all.....
