At the close:
At the close, the May corn futures finished 38¢ higher at $7.40.
July corn futures closed 25¢ higher at $6.73 1/2. New crop December corn futures finished 17 1/2¢ higher at $5.63 3/4.
May soybean futures settled 28 1/2¢ higher at $15.71. July soybean futures finished 32¢ higher at $15.34. New crop November soybean futures closed 21¢ higher at $13.39.
July wheat futures closed 5 1/4¢ higher at $7.34 3/4.
July soymeal futures closed $3.10 short ton higher at $426.10.
July soy oil futures ended +2.50 higher at 62.39¢ per pound.
In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is -1.35 lower (-2.08%) at $63.66. The U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 182 points lower (-0.53%) at 33,878 points.

At midsession:
At midsession, the May corn futures are 14¢ higher at $7.16, after hitting $7.20 per bushel earlier this week.
July corn futures are 13 1/2¢ higher at $6.61 1/2. New crop December corn futures are 2 3/4¢ higher at $5.49.
May soybean futures are 5 1/2¢ higher at $15.48 1/4. July soybean futures are 9 1/2¢ lower at $15.11 3/4. New crop November soybean futures are 4 1/2¢ higher at $13.23 1/2.
July wheat futures are 5 1/4¢ lower at $7.23 3/4.
July soymeal futures are $2.70 short ton lower at $420.30.
July soy oil futures are +1.55 higher at 61.44¢ per pound.
In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is -1.58 lower (-2.43%) at $63.43. The U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 210 points lower (-0.62%) at 33,849 points.

wow that profit taking didn't last long..... what a mess..... I would have preferred taking two years to get to these prices. But that's not the just in time world we live in these days.
