Soybeans jumped overnight on the news that the US and China will return to the bargaining table in a bid to end the ongoing and escalating spat that's hurt soybean trade. The sides will reportedly meet by the end of the month. Soybean futures rose about 14 cents, corn was up 3 cents and wheat was up 6-7 cents. Ethanol production last week declined slightly from a seven-month high while stockpiles rose. In weather news, the storms that brought flooding to parts of Oklahoma and Arkansas is moving north into Missouri today. Get all the details in today's 3 Big Things. 

West Texas Intermediate = up 0.2%.

Brent Crude = up 0.5%

Dollar = down 0.1%

Wall Street = U.S. stock higher pre-market.

World Markets = Global stocks mixed overnight.

Ha thanks! It's been me all along but for some weird reason it logs in under an old screen name from YEARS ago with the new wifi. We bought a new place and moved and I got a new laptop, but I finally figured out how to get back to tony_dreibus! Also, I bought several pounds of flour to make egg noodles like my grandma used to make, and have been eating a lot of corn tortillas and eating miso soup to try to support prices! Looks like my plan is working.
