------------
Soybeans jumped overnight on optimism that US and Chinese negotiators this week will be able to find a resolution to the ongoing trade war between the world's biggest economies. Beans added almost a dime, while corn was little changed. Wheat futures lost 5-7 cents in overnight trading. Money managers are buying into the optimism as they reduced their net-short positions, or bets on lower prices, in both corn and beans last week. They're already bullish on wheat, which didn't change much. In weather news, a large storm is hammering parts of eastern Nebraska and western Iowa this morning, causing flooding along the Missouri River. Check out today's 3 Big Things for all the details.
West Texas Intermediate = down 0.3%.
Brent Crude = up 0.1%
Dollar = up 0.2%
Wall Street = U.S. stock higher pre-market.
World Markets = Global stocks mostly higher overnight.
