Floor Talk December 8
Wheat was higher overnight as more cold weather moves into the southern Plains, threatening the hard-red crop. KC and Chicago futures both rose about 6 cents. Soybeans were down a nickel while corn was a penny higher. The EIA said yesterday that ethanol production last week rose to the highest since August, which is a good sign for corn demand.
Here's what happened overnight:
Brent Crude Oil = 0.7% higher .
West Texas Intermediate Crude Oil = 0.7% higher.
Dollar = down 0.3%.
Wall Street = U.S. stock futures modestly higher in overnight trading.
World Markets = Global stocks higher, following oil futures.
