Soybeans and grains were lower in overnight trading party due to favorable growing weather in Brazil and party due to position-squaring ahead of WASDE tomorrow. Fundamentally not a lot has changed, though some rainfall is predicted for growing areas in the South American country. Soybeans lost about 7 cents, corn dropped just over a penny and wheat was down 4-5 cents. Money managers were more bullish on beans and less bearish on corn last week. In weather news, it's going to be windy today in much of the Midwest, and in parts of the southern Plains including Kansas and Oklahoma, the wind may whip up some wildfires so burn bans are in effect.
