Grain and soybean futures were closed overnight in observance of Presidents Day. Money managers, last week, were wheeling and dealing and becoming less bearish on corn and actually turning bullish on beans for the first time since Dec. 18. They seem to be taking the adverse weather in Argentina and the US southern Plains seriously. In weather news, a storm stretching from the West Coast to the Great Lakes will dump snow and ice on much of the central Midwest and Plains today and tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service. Some areas will get up to 8 inches of snow while others will see a glaze of ice.
