On Friday, news reports show that China has lifted its ban on Russian wheat imports. China had a problem with a fungus in Russian wheat. How quick it forgets about that fungus, in times of supporting Russia in its invasion of Ukraine.

Chinese banks restrict financing for Russian commodities in order to comply with Western sanctions. So maybe China gets to look like they're supporting Putin without actually supporting him. And maybe those sanctions will hurt Russia more than Putin admits.
