Floor Talk February 3, 2021

At midsession:

At midsession, the March corn futures are unchanged at $5.43. May corn futures are 1/2¢ lower at $5.41 3/4. New crop December corn futures are 1/4¢ higher at $4.47 1/4.

March soybean futures are 8 1/4¢ higher at $13.63 1/4. May soybean futures are 8 3/4¢ higher at $13.59 1/2. New crop November futures are 1 1/4¢ higher at $11.51 1/2.

March wheat futures are 7¢ lower at $6.37.


March soymeal futures are $4.70 short term higher at $432.70.


March soy oil futures are 0.13 lower at 44.19¢ per pound.

In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is $1.43 per barrel higher (+2.61%) at $56.19. The U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 20 points higher (+0.07%) at 30,708 points.

So massive exports across the board traders ignore it,Brazil crop will be smaller traders ignore it,trouble in the ports traders ignore it. Can I get paid not to to my job and have my head up my ***** or is that just strictly for the traders?

Gonna need that warmth as we dive below zero for the first time this winter.  Guess they couldn't keep it in Siberia any longer.

Basis starting to improve locally.  Picked up 7 cents on corn and 5 on beans.  More warm fuzziness.
