Floor Talk July 1, 2021
At midsession:
At midsession, the Sept. corn futures are 5¢ higher at $6.04 1/2. New crop Dec. futures are 2 1/2¢ higher at $5.91. March corn futures are 1 1/4¢ higher at $5.97.
August soybean futures are 16¢ higher at $14.46.
Sept. soybean futures are 10 1/4¢ higher at $14.18 3/4. New crop November soybean futures are 8¢ higher at $14.07.
Sept. wheat futures are 2 1/4¢ higher at $6.81 1/4.
Aug. soymeal futures are $7.00 per short ton higher at $384.50.
Aug. soy oil futures are $0.15 higher at 65.57¢ per pound.
In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is +1.47 higher (+2.00%) at $74.94. The U.S. dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 84 points higher (+0.24%) at 34,585 points.

But, the trade`s exuberance yesterday must`ve been legit, being as it basically held. There`s still time, Richard Brock says a 176 national corn yield and he said end users are covered through September. If it`s a 160 yield after the Pro Farmer Tour, it`ll go up more.

First two fields have a few tassels out this evening.
Best fields of beans are two to three inches from closing in rows on 30" .
Was mowing hay and noticed two tile lines running water, not just dripping.
Latest drought maps have us in moderate need of moisture but it is inaccurate
In my little corner of paradise.
Ten more nice days like today and an inch and a half would be nice.
